Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health and Safety Coordinator to champion a safe and compliant work environment across our construction projects. In this vital role, you will oversee safety protocols, conduct inspections, and collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and safety policies tailored to construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, ensure compliance with safety standards, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate safety training sessions for construction teams, subcontractors, and visitors to promote awareness and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and training activities for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction management teams to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
- Investigate accidents or near-misses thoroughly,



documenting findings and recommending preventative measures.
- Stay current on local, state, and federal safety regulations related to construction activities to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction safety management or related roles within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction management software for tracking safety compliance and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards or equivalent regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams and report findings clearly.
- Ability to perform site inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Construction experience is essential; prior involvement in managing or overseeing safety protocols on active sites is highly preferred.
- Certification in health and safety (such as OSHA 30-hour or equivalent) is desirable but not mandatory.
