Parker Hannifin Canada is hiring a permanent full-time Warehouse Associate in our Warehouse Department in Milton, ON.
We have openings available for the following shifts:
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm (8 hr Shift)
Full Time Role: Eligible to participate in quarterly bonus program and benefits immediately.
Our Warehouse Associates will be trained in one primary role and will be cross trained in secondary roles. The successful candidate will take ownership of their position, demonstrate initiative, and possess a strong ability to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Primary Functions:
Receiving
- Accurately receive products using the Data Warehouse System.
- Stage received goods for replenishment in designated areas.
- Replenish stock locations with received products.
- Complete all required receiving documentation accurately.
- Adhere to all Standard Work Instructions.
Shipping
- Process shipments using the Pack Verification System.
- Manage all courier shipments through the scan code shipping system.
- Generate daily reports and manifests.
- Utilize query screens for customer shipments.
- Process truck bills for outgoing shipments.
- Communicate any shipping issues or discrepancies to the supervisor or lead.
- Follow all Standard Work Instructions.
Order Picking - Bulk and Carousel
- Efficiently pick parts to fulfill orders.
- Verify that parts and quantities match sales orders using the Pulsar system.
- Ensure products are stored in correct locations to prevent damage.
- Comply with all Standard Work Instructions.

- Safely operate all warehouse equipment.
- Correctly handle and dispose of non-conforming materials.
- Complete all required paperwork and sign-offs.
- Meet daily throughput requirements.
- Record daily and monthly results on the Team Improvement Board.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Participate in Lean/Problem Solving activities.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Understand and support the Parker Win Strategy.
Qualifications, Skills, & Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and packing slips.
- Capability to move and lift to 25 lbs. repetitively.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn in-house systems.
- Licensed forklift operator preferred; willingness to obtain a license if not currently licensed.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
- Adaptable to change and open to learning new processes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Reliable means of transportation.
