Position Overview

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cooks to join our evening production team. Our Cooks play a key role in preparing and packaging our gourmet frozen meals. This position reports directly to the Chef, with guidance from the Sous Chefs, and is ideal for someone with strong kitchen skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and production standards.
- Assist with portioning, packaging, and labeling meals for retail and wholesale.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the shift.
- Follow all food safety and Fraser Health guidelines.
- Support daily prep lists and shift priorities as directed by the Chef.
- Communicate any shortages, equipment issues,



or workflow concerns promptly.
- Assist with closing duties at the end of the shift.

Qualifications

- Previous cooking or kitchen experience required (commercial kitchen experience an asset).
- Strong knowledge of food safety and secure food-handling practices.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- FoodSafe Level 1 required (or willing to obtain).
