Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Paint Blender to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately mixing and preparing paint and coatings according to customer specifications, production requirements, and company quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Measure and blend paints, pigments, coatings, and solvents accurately.
- Match colours according to samples, formulas, and customer specifications.
- Follow batch formulas, work orders, and production instructions.
- Operate and maintain mixing equipment and related tools.
- Check colour, consistency, viscosity, and overall quality before production use.
- Label, store, and handle paints and chemicals safely.
- Maintain accurate records of batches, formulas, materials, and adjustments.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety requirements.
- Communicate with production staff and supervisors regarding colour matching, materials, and quality concerns.
- Follow all company procedures, safety policies, and applicable WHMIS requirements.

Qualifications

- Previous experience mixing paint, coatings, automotive finishes, powder coatings,



or related products is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and colour accuracy.
- Good basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to read and follow formulas, work orders, and technical instructions.
- Comfortable working with chemicals and wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organized, and committed to producing consistent, high-quality work.
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is an asset.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move paint containers and materials safely.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
- Ability to work safely while wearing protective equipment.
