We are seeking a Production Line Operator to join our client at a busy Manufacturing company located in Orangeville, ON. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience in operating molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor injection molding machines to ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Fabricate and assemble components as per specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Quality inspection checks of products as needed
- Following all GMPs as outlined
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies or defects.

Requirements

- Manufacturing experience of 2+ years
- Plastics industry experience is an asset
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and GMPs,



Health and Safety safety protocols.
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with machining processes is preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively, including calipers for precise measurements.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is required.
- Experience with lathe operations is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Shift time:

Continental 12-hour shift either on Days or Nights

7:00AM – 7:00PM / 7:00PM – 7:AM

Pay-rate:

$17.85 - 20.85/ hr. (depending on shift)
