Overview
We are seeking positive, reliable, respectful and kind individuals with strong work ethic to join our team as Personal Care Workers who provide essential support and multi faceted care and assistance to senior residents at Silverwood as authorized and directed by our management with all efforts harmonious in keeping Silverwood as the best place to live, work and belong. Someone who is reliable, dependable and follows company policy.
Responsibilities include
- Providing personal care and support to individuals in accordance with their care plans
- Assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming, housekeeping, laundry, etc.
- Administering medications as prescribed and assist with medication management.
Monitoring and reporting changes in the individual's health or behaviour
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities and provide emotional support
- Maintaining a clean, healthy and safe environment for those who live, work and visit at Silverwood
Requirements include
- Ability to work reliably, responsibly, efficiently, harmoniously and effectively in a team as well as independently in the best care of seniors
- Having integrity, strong work ethic, effective communication, interpersonal skills and enthusiasm in betterment training
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards those in need of care
- Experience or certification in caregiving, patient care, or a related field a plus
