Who are we searching for?

We currently have an opening for a full-time Transportation Billing Analyst to join our busy and growing team!

Job Duties

- Generate, audit, and finalize transportation billing for assigned accounts or regions
- Validate shipment details – including rates, accessorials, mileage, and fuel against contracts, tariffs, and rate tables




- Ensure billing accuracy across various service modes (LTL, FTL, intermodal, warehousing, cross dock, etc.
- Process customer billing through TMS, ERP or customer portals as required
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to missing documentation, rate errors or inaccurate shipment details
- Communicate with operations/dispatch teams to confirm shipment status, rate exceptions or special charges
- Work directly with customers to clarify billing requirements or correct invoice issues
- Ensure all required documentation (BOLs, PODs, rate confirmations, accessorial approvals, et.) is complete and linked to each invoice
- Maintain compliance with customer specific billing formats and submission deadlines
- Track and maintain audit trails for internal and customer review
- Monitor billing KPIs such as billing timeliness, invoice accuracy and unbilled loads
- Assist with weekly/monthly billing reports and revenue analysis
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
- Partner with operations, logistics, customer service, and accounts receivable to streamline billing processes
- Support finance and management teams during month end close

Required Knowledge/ Experience:

- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to work with large data sets




- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Effective communication skills across departments and with customers
- Knowledge of transportation terminology, freight rating, and accessorial charges is an asset
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, supply chain or related field preferred
- One (1) - three (3) years of billing, accounting or transportation/logistics experience ideal
- Experience working with transportation management systems (TMS) strongly preferred

- Long periods of sitting required
- Overtime may be required
