About the Role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly accountable skilled to join our team. In this role, you will direct technical resources supporting our production to ensure a consistently high level of quality for our products, as well as support our sales team to ensure our products are in full compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & System Management
- Manage the existing Bill of Materials (BOM) in the production management system.
- Issue manufacturing orders in the management system according to the production schedule.
- Prepare the production spreadsheet for each work order.
Quality Control & Testing
- Manage and document in-house and outsourced testing, as well as stability testing.
- Document abnormal conditions related to product quality, assisting the production manager to investigate and determine the root cause if possible, and to develop and implement action plans.
Regulatory Affairs & Compliance
- Apply for new NPNs (Natural Product Numbers) after appropriate training or provide assistance in the NPN application process.
- Assist in the review and proofreading of label wording to ensure full compliance with NPNs and regulatory guidelines.
- Regularly review authority regulations to assist the management to modify, optimize,
and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
Cross-Functional Support & Continuous Improvement
- Help to review the Certificate of Analysis (CoA) reports provided by suppliers for raw material purchases before the purchase order is placed.
- Assist the sales team in responding to customers' enquiries.
- Contribute and assist in improving overall production efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the natural health product or pharmaceutical industry is preferred, but any other quality control experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Work Ethic: High level of accountability with a strong commitment to reliability.
- Computer Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills.
- Teamwork: Able to work well with others and able to work independently in a team environment.
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
