About Tiny Hands Club
Tiny Hands Club is a warm, community-focused studio space offering wellness, movement, and connection-based programming for women, parents, and families.
We are expanding our fitness and wellness classes and are looking for a passionate, confident, and welcoming Group Fitness / Mat Pilates Instructor to lead small-group classes in our studio.
Our goal is to create a beautiful, supportive environment where women can move, strengthen, reconnect with their bodies, and feel part of a community.
Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Mat Pilates Instructor to lead two small-group class styles:
Postpartum Pilates
A gentle yet effective class focused on recovery, core restoration, pelvic floor connection, breathwork, mobility, and rebuilding strength after birth.
Intermediate Pilates
A strength-focused class designed to build core, arms, glutes, posture, stability, and overall body strength through controlled mat-based movement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with women at different stages of their fitness journey and can create a supportive, encouraging, and professional studio experience.
Responsibilities
The instructor will be responsible for:
- Planning and leading safe, effective, and engaging mat Pilates classes
- Providing clear instruction, cueing, modifications, and progressions
- Creating a welcoming and inclusive studio atmosphere
- Ensuring exercises are appropriate for postpartum clients
- Supporting clients with different fitness levels and abilities
- Maintaining a clean, calm, and organized studio space
- Communicating professionally with clients and staff
- Managing the flow, energy, music, and overall feel of the class
- Ensuring instructions are clear and easy to follow throughout the session
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience teaching group fitness, Pilates, or mat-based movement classes
- Solid knowledge of safe movement, core strength, posture, and body alignment
- An understanding of postpartum recovery, pelvic floor awareness, and core connection
- The ability to modify exercises for different fitness levels
- Strong communication, cueing, and leadership skills
- A positive, professional, and encouraging teaching style
- Confidence leading small-group classes
- Comfort working in a mom + baby / child-friendly studio environment
Preferred Assets
The following are considered an asset, but are not required:
- Pre/postnatal fitness certification
- Pilates certification
- Experience teaching Mommy & Me, postpartum, or women’s fitness classes
- Background in kinesiology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, personal training, or fitness coaching
- Experience creating community-based wellness classes
Position Details
- Part-time position
- 4 classes per week to start
- Opportunity to grow into additional classes and workshops
- Small-group studio setting
- Flexible scheduling based on availability
Current class times:
Tuesdays and Sundays
9:30 AM–10:10 AM
10:15 AM–11:00 AM
