Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator / Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and completion of projects. This role involves coordinating tasks, resources, subcontractors, schedules, and communications to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope. Key team member in developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures within a workplace to ensure compliance with legal regulations and to promote a safe working setting. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Subcontractors, suppliers, company resources
- Implement Project Schedule
- Attend site meetings
- Track project progress and deadlines, ensuring timely updates and reporting
- Maintain and manage project documentation and reports
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Monitor and track project risks and issues and help with mitigation efforts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project methodologies
- Risk Assessments, Identify potential hazards and conduit risk assessments




- Act as management representative as part of the Health & Safety Committee
- Incident Investigation, investigate workplace accidents and near-misses to prevent future occurrences
- Perform monthly project site inspections
- Reporting and maintaining records of safety inspections
- Policy Development and updating current health and safety policies and procedures

Quailifications:

- Graduate of CET accredited post secondary (Construction Engineering Technology Program)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Valid G licence with clean abstract
