Overview
We are seeking a energetic and detail-oriented Foreman to join our construction/excavating team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate complex construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and site supervision, with a passion for delivering high-quality results. You will play a pivotal role in managing project workflows, overseeing subcontractors, and maintaining safety standards across multiple sites.

Duties

- Lead and supervise excavation and groundworks crews on residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
- Plan daily operations, assign tasks, and ensure work is completed to specifications and within deadlines.
- Operate and oversee heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and compactors when required.
- Monitor site safety, enforce compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations, and conduct daily safety meetings.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve site challenges.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, machinery, and vehicles.

Experience

- Strong knowledge of grading, trenching, shoring,



and site preparation techniques.
- Ability to use laser level, finding grades, raking, earth work, and pipe work.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and understanding of equipment capabilities and limitations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (Class 1 or 3 an asset).
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- 10+ years experience
