The opportunity:
As part of Grissin Bon Supply Chain team the Lead Shipper Receiver is responsible for supervising the activities of the warehouse employees on the shift. Supervises the warehouse to ensure efficiency, safety, and optimization of material handling throughout factory, ensuring the systematic recording and maintaining of the inventory and logistics functions are completed. Plans, directs, and coordinates all warehouse activities relating to safety, efficiency, and quality.

Main Responsibilities:

- Supervise the warehouse staff and daily activities according to BRC, HACCP, Quality, GMP and Health & Safety standards, aligning knowledge of the Shipper/Receivers in best practices
- Support the planning of activities in the warehouse, create Team oriented atmosphere
- Provide information/documentation to Department Managers
- Identify, propose and drive continuous improvement initiatives relating to the warehouse
- Supervise liability of warehouse equipment and work with management to identify issues and maintain equipment in good working order
- Determine inventory levels and usage pattern, review, and report on service levels of demand planning (Fill Rate)



on a daily basis as well as participate in bi-annual physical inventory counts
- Coordinate with plant operations team to ensure production schedule adherence and reporting in ERP is accurate and oversee the implementation of the warehouse management system
- Daily touch points with production Supervisors/Line Leaders on production output to achieving daily targets, monitor and report on inventory levels and status of raw materials, manufacturing components and finished goods
- Working with carrier services, monitor freight rates on a continual basis in efforts to reduce freight costs, carry out all daily shipping activities, including but not limited to, shipments to vendors, transfers between warehouses and customer orders, while ensuring shipment accuracy and desired shipment method have been utilized
- Verify with Shipping/Receiving pallets being delivered are using correct Pallet ID, Lot and Item Code and communicating unforeseen changes due to customer requests
- Receives and stocks materials and products from suppliers, reconciles purchase orders with receiving, responsible for administrative duties as it relates labelling and documentation, as well as customs related paperwork
- Responsible for organization and cleanliness of warehouse
- Ensure health & safety policies and safe work habits are adhered to by all personnel and visitors
- Supervise accidents/incidents involving warehouse employees (first aid intervention, accident reporting, accident investigation) with the support of First Aid responders, Shift Supervisors and Joint Health & Safety Committee members according to company and MOL guidelines
- Corrects unsafe acts and conditions, conducts performance appraisals for worker safety performance




- Supervise absenteeism and documentation of scheduled vacation and unscheduled illness to ensure proper coverage within warehouse
- Perform employee performance reviews, ensure performance targets are met and exceeded
- Resolve personnel issues with Human Resources Department according to prescribed policy

What you bring:

- Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience leading a team in a warehouse setting
- Experience within food & beverage, and/or consumer packaged goods industry highly preferred
- Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
- Flexible and able to support a growing operation as required
