Key Job Functions Include:
- Verify customer purchase order and customer requirements
- Create clear and detailed manufacturing work orders using Visual ERP software
- Select best manufacturing processes and compose accurate instructions/routings
- Consult with manufacturing, purchasing and scheduling to ensure accuracy
- Prepare shop prints for manufacturing, CAD layouts for forming and plasma burning
- Make plasma burning programs and nests using Columbus software
- Design fixtures and templates to assist / improve manufacturability
- Manage and control Engineering drawings, specifications and records
- Assist with development and implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Investigate manufacturing quality issues and assist in implementing corrective actions
- Work closely with customer / suppliers to clarify requirements and manage deviations
- Assist in quoting new parts to support Sales team to secure / maintain partnerships
- Complete administrative duties as required to help support the Stratford plant
Qualifications Include:
- Post-secondary education in an Engineering or Technologist related field OR equivalent experience working in a similar role
- Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software; ability to create,
edit and manipulate 2D & 3D models/drawings
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant manufacturing/fabrication experience including familiarity with manufacturing processes (welding, sawing, assembly, machine operation)
- Familiar with manufacturing ERP systems is an asset (ie. Infor Visual)
- Plasma/Laser nesting experience is an asset (ie. Columbus)

Pay: $62,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
