Responsibilities

- Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, harvesting and packing crops using appropriate tools and equipment
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems and farm equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Use hand tools and power tools for repairs, adjustments, and general farm tasks
- Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and record keeping
- Engage in heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or harvested produce as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency




- Follow safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and farm procedures

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining farm machinery and equipment

Job Type: Fixed term contract
