Duties

- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in diagnosing oral health issues by reviewing patient histories and current conditions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Support the dental team with procedures related to orthodontics, pediatrics, or other specialties as needed.




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions, alleviating concerns, and ensuring a positive experience.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario licensure or certification as a Dental Hygienist.
- Proven experience working in a dental office environment with strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
- Experience in a busy private practice is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.

Pay: $45.00-$65.00 per hour
