Job Summary

Join our dynamic dental team at Omnicare Dental Centre as a Dental Assistant Level I or II, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice. Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies for procedures
- Assist dentists during examinations, restorations, orthodontics, pediatrics, and other dental treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental software Tracker




- Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure environment for staff and patients

Qualifications

- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred; entry-level candidates with relevant training are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of dental software platform Tracker is preferred, though not necessary
- Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental care
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Certification in dental assisting

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
