Barangas on the Beach is hiring Seasonal Line Cooks to join our Beach Bar kitchen team for the 2026 season. We are one of Hamilton’s busiest waterfront restaurants, known for our fast-paced service, strong team culture, and continued growth. As our business continues to expand each year, we are looking for reliable and hardworking cooks who thrive in a high-volume kitchen environment.

This is a seasonal position starting immediately and running through October, with the opportunity to stay on with the team until December for the right candidates.

Pay & Perks

- $18 – $21 per hour (based on experience)
- Kitchen staff receive tips
- Free staff meal every shift
- 30-minute break + two 15-minute breaks per shift

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant standards
- Work efficiently during busy,



high-volume service
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain consistency, quality, and speed during service

Requirements

- Food Safety Certificate (required)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen workplace
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude

Uniform Requirements

- Black pants
- Non-slip kitchen shoes
- Head covering (hat, bandana, hairnet)
