Reporting to the General Manager in Vancouver, the Site Supervisor – Process Piping Work Coordinator (Stainless Steel TIG) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising process piping and stainless steel TIG welding activities performed at client sites.

The Site Supervisor ensures that all work is completed in accordance with drawings, technical requirements, sanitary standards, and established schedules. Acting as a key point of contact for site teams, clients, and Project Managers, the position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects in the food processing, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries.

Key Responsibilities

Work Coordination and Supervision

- Work directly on site to plan, organize, and coordinate daily site activities.
- Supervise on-site teams of pipefitters and stainless steel TIG welders.
- Ensure effective allocation of work according to site priorities and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project schedules, labor budgets, and production targets.
- Monitor work progress directly on site and adjust planning as required.
- Participate in on-site meetings with clients, Project Managers, and various stakeholders.
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact for the coordination and execution of the work.

Technical Expertise

- Supervise the fabrication, installation, modification, and dismantling of sanitary stainless steel piping systems.
- Ensure that TIG welding meets company quality standards and client requirements.
- Interpret isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, P&IDs;, and technical specifications.
- Resolve technical issues encountered on site.

Quality Management

- Verify the compliance of materials, equipment,



and components being installed.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the work.
- Ensure compliance with sanitary standards applicable to industrial processes.
- Identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in testing, pressure tests, final inspections, and commissioning activities.

Planning and Logistics

- Assess requirements for materials, equipment, and tools.
- Order required components and monitor deliveries.
- Optimize the use of human and material resources.

Communication and Client Relations

- Maintain regular communication with the Project Manager and the client.
- Keep stakeholders informed of work progress.
- Manage unexpected issues and quickly propose effective solutions.
- Provide professional service and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.

Health and Safety

- Enforce the company's health and safety policies, as well as those of the client.
- Conduct risk assessments prior to commencing work.
- Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

- Diploma or technical training in piping, welding, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in piping and welding,



including at least 2 years in a site management role within industrial environments, ideally in the food processing, cosmetic, and/or pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and industry-specific requirements, particularly those related to safety and hygiene in the food processing and cosmetic sectors.
- Proven experience managing teams, with solid organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in tools required for site coordination and technical reporting, including drawing interpretation, progress reports, and related documentation.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
- Fluency in English.

Rémunération : 40,00$ à 50,00$ par heure
