Rosemead House and Janevca Kitchen & Lounge are seeking an experienced and dependable Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team.

Working within the distinctive setting of Rosemead House, the Breakfast Cook plays an important role in creating an exceptional start to our guests' day. We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing beautifully executed breakfast dishes using quality ingredients while delivering the consistency and attention to detail expected in a high-end hospitality environment.

The Role

The Breakfast Cook is responsible for the preparation and execution of breakfast service for Rosemead House guests while supporting the overall culinary operations of Janevca.

This position requires someone who is comfortable working independently, is highly organized and understands the importance of timing, presentation and consistency during breakfast service.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and execute breakfast dishes according to established recipes, presentation and quality standards.
- Prepare eggs and breakfast items using a variety of cooking techniques with consistency and accuracy.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, garnishes and accompaniments required for breakfast service.
- Maintain appropriate portioning and presentation standards.
- Monitor food quality, freshness and temperature throughout service.
- Ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary workstation.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation and kitchen procedures.




- Properly receive, label, rotate and store food products.
- Minimize food waste and communicate inventory or product requirements to the culinary leadership team.
- Assist with prep and other kitchen responsibilities following breakfast service as required.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary and front-of-house teams to provide an exceptional guest experience.

What We're Looking For

- Scratch Cooking Required
- Previous experience as a Breakfast Cook, Line Cook or similar culinary position.
- Strong breakfast cookery skills, particularly egg preparation and timing.
- Experience in a hotel, high-end restaurant or upscale hospitality environment is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and safe food-handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain organized during busy service periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation.
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable with early morning shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a professional culinary team.
- FoodSafe certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
