Specializing in environmental, improvement, repair, and new construction, they operate across Central and Southern Alberta, ensuring high standards of detail and safety. Our client is looking for a Flagger/Traffic Control Person to ensure secure and efficient traffic management at road construction sites across Alberta. This role involves setting up, maintaining, and removing traffic control signage, directing traffic, and communicating effectively with team members to protect workers and the public.

Responsibilities

- Conduct daily site reviews with supervisors to understand work activities and potential hazards.
- Set up, relocate, and disassemble traffic control signage and barricades as needed.
- Direct traffic safely to protect workers and the public.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of project signage.




- Communicate effectively with other traffic control workers using established signals and equipment.
- Help trucks enter and exit work sites safely.
- Remove or cover all traffic control signage at the end of the day or when work is complete.

Qualifications

- Valid Traffic Control Training certificate is preferred.
- Experience in traffic control or road construction is an asset.
- Ability to work away from home for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to stand for long periods and work extended hours.
