Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team on the morning shift from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating reach trucks to move, locate, and record inventory within the warehouse. Your expertise will ensure smooth order fulfillment, accurate stock management, and safe working conditions. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to warehouse operations. Responsibilities

- Safely operate reach trucks to handle inventory movement throughout the warehouse
- Perform accurate order picking and staging based on shipping requirements using warehouse management systems
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks with the reach truck safely while adhering to safety protocols and ergonomic practices
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and verifying stock levels
- Use basic math skills to verify quantities, measurements, and calculations during order processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and proper storage of goods
- Support the operation of various warehouse equipment through mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills




- Follow all safety procedures related to heavy machinery operation and warehouse environment
- Document inventory movements accurately within the warehouse management system

Skills

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution environments with familiarity in using reach trucks
- Robust mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in operating warehouse management systems for order processing and inventory control
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order picking and stock verification
- Physical capability for heavy lifting tasks required in a warehouse setting
- Knowledge of safety standards related to forklift operation and material handling equipment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
