Service Advisor

Our client is looking for a Service Advisorr to support their technical service operations. The company specializes in providing advanced solutions and support in the field of industrial equipment, focusing on efficiency, innovation, and teamwork.

The Service Advisor plays a key role in ensuring seamless service delivery by acting as a liaison between clients, technicians, and management. This position involves a mix of administrative and hands-on responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Process incoming orders and repair requests in a timely manner.
- Prepare accurate quotes for spare parts for both custom and standard equipment.
- Oversee shipping and receiving activities to ensure efficient logistics.
- Handle incoming calls, provide basic technical support, and troubleshoot issues over the phone.
- Assist technicians on the shop floor with hands-on support as needed.
- Act as a backup for the service manager and provide ongoing support to internal and external customers.
- Maintain organized records of service activities and customer interactions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
- Assist in managing inventory levels for spare parts and equipment.




- Provide clear and concise updates to customers regarding service status and timelines.
- Collaborate with the team to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications

- Journeyman Mechanic certification (Red Seal or equivalent).
- Certification or experience as a Parts Technician a robust asset.
- 5+ years of experience in a service or parts-related role.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer service environment.
- Experience with shipping and receiving procedures.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems and equipment operation.
- Proficiency in using computers for order processing, documentation, and communication.
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Occasional overtime to meet customer deadlines may be required.

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
