Position Overview
Position Overview
The Inventory Coordinator is accountable for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility. This role will serve to maximize space utilization as defined by operating procedures and monitor inventory levels and product movement. The Inventory Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring a conforming product mix, facilitating efficient order fulfillment, and contributing to a protected and orderly working environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain and review efficient and accurate inventory/warehouse control procedures, consistent with company policy and procedures
- Liaise between production and the sales team
- Provide accurate and timely order entry for operations
- Safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection
- Initiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategy
- Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments
- Make system adjustments as required and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions
- Review orders lead time is according to standards set up in MRO OP#015
- Review drawing BOM and AddOn BOM matches. Report any discrepancies to the sales team
- Provide timely and accurate responses to sales team regarding confirmation dates, material shortages, and drawing issues
- Support product return process through physical identification and segregation of product
- Responsible for running of reports, reconciliation of final count variances, and all other reconciliation activities
- Process accurate perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement, when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

- Possesses physical strength necessary to lift boxes and other heavy items on a regular basis
- Is capable of using computer inventory software
- Exhibits the ability to read and interpret inventory reports, sales reports, and packing slips

- Possesses broad knowledge of the range of store products and services
- Is capable of employing basic math skills
- Communicates clearly and effectively
- Demonstrates professional and polite demeanor with customers
Education and Certifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience in manufacturing/production and/or inventory sector is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
