Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food preparation meets quality standards and guest expectations
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly,



and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods
- Practice effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality

Experience

- Previous food service knowledge in a Indian or south Indian restaurant or hospitality setting preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and cash handling tasks
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve upselling or guest engagement is advantageous
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
