For over 30 years, we have been a leading Mechanical Contracting Company in Niagara, delivering safe and timely piping and HVAC installations throughout the Niagara Region, Golden Horseshoe, and Southern Ontario. Our reputation is built on the dedication, skill, and expertise of our team, and we are seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman/Foreperson to lead and coordinate plumbing operations on our construction projects.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, extensive commercial, institutional, and industrial plumbing experience, and a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and successful project delivery. This role will oversee plumbing crews, support project schedules, mentor team members, and ensure work is completed to company and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret specifications, construction drawings, shop drawings, and equipment manuals to plan and coordinate work.
- Lead and supervise plumbing crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Coordinate daily labour, materials, tools, and equipment to support successful project delivery.
- Install, repair,



and maintain piping systems while providing technical guidance to the crew.
- Support other Group 92 trades as required to achieve overall project success.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, project managers, co-workers, and other construction professionals.
- Monitor project progress, resolve field issues, and communicate updates to project management.
- Mentor and develop apprentices and journeypersons, promoting safe work practices and quality workmanship.
- Maintain safe, organized, and code-compliant work areas that meet company quality standards.
- Stay current with plumbing codes, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

- Valid 306A Plumbing License.
- Minimum 5 years of Plumbing Foreman/Foreperson experience overseeing crews on commercial, institutional, and industrial (ICI) construction projects.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with commercial, institutional, and industrial plumbing systems.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's License.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and equipment (asset).
- Ability to work independently while effectively leading and supporting a crew.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to safely perform physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and overhead work.
