Duties

- Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies with precision and creativity
- Decorate cakes and desserts using professional cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal
- Follow food safety protocols and handle ingredients responsibly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and assembling baked items
- Package baked goods efficiently for display or take-out orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work station,

- Support the team during busy hours by providing excellent customer service and answering customer inquiries about products

Skills

- Proven experience in baking, with a strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Skilled in cake decorating techniques that add aesthetic value to baked goods
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred for understanding fast-paced environments
- Excellent food preparation skills with an eye for detail and consistency
- Strong customer service skills to engage positively with customers and address their needs effectively
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation, including mixers, ovens, and packaging tools
