Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Oversee food handling procedures, maintaining strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Manage food inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils through regular cleaning schedules.




- Collaborate with management to develop menus that meet dietary requirements and optimize resource utilization.

Experience

- Proven experience in cooking for a camp style environment for rotational workers
- Supervising experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting, demonstrating leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, handling procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Hands-on experience with food service operations, including serving large groups in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is preferred.
- Previous fly-in fly-out or remote work experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a flexible attitude towards shift rotations is essential.
