Career Contacts is supporting our client, a well-established commercial construction leader, in the search for a Project Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented construction professional who enjoys keeping project information moving so field teams can stay productive. Reporting to the Construction Director, the successful candidate will bring over 5 years of commercial construction project management experience.

What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Review project scope, drawings, specifications, budgets, cost codes, schedules, risks, and contract requirements during project handoff
- Interpret and communicate contract requirements, customer commitments, scope changes, and project risks to internal teams
- Work closely with Site Supervisors to ensure they have current drawings, approved changes, site instructions, RFIs, and specifications
- Coordinate material needs, purchase orders,
supplier communication, and delivery timing to support the field schedule
- Manage RFIs, design clarifications, and site instructions to prevent delays and remove project constraints
- Track project constraints, assign follow-up actions, and help resolve issues affecting schedule, productivity, or billing
- Identify, price, submit, negotiate, and track change orders, including cost, schedule, and productivity impacts
- Organize and maintain field documentation, including time-and-material records, quality check sheets, and site reports
- Prepare accurate cost-to-complete updates and project forecasts using field input and committed costs
- Review and approve material, equipment, subcontractor, and project-related invoices
- Prepare and submit progress applications and coordinate with finance on billing and cost coding
- Maintain strong communication with clients, general contractors, consultants, suppliers, and leadership
- Support project closeout, deficiency tracking, final documentation, and warranty requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, project coordination,
or a related role
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, change orders, and documentation
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, forecasting, cost codes, billing, and financial performance
- Strong coordination and relationship management skills across Site Supervisors, clients, GCs, and suppliers
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify project risks, remove roadblocks, and proactively resolve issues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software
- Experience managing commercial steel stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and related interior systems
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
