Rakowski Recycling is currently accepting applications for the position of: Operations Manager, to join our growing team. Rakowski Recycling specializes in metal recycling, servicing industrial, commercial and residential customers throughout Manitoba. This position is full time.

- Minimum three years of experience as an operations manager
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Energetic, outgoing personality
- Self-starter, ability to motivate, inspire and lead team members
- Superior customer relation skills, excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Computer knowledge- working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with focus on excel spreadsheets.
- High school completion with a post secondary education. (preferably relevant to technical or business application)

Duties include:
- Managing onsite yard and shop staff
- Manage QA and QC of all processed materials
- Maintain inventory cataloging
- Manage shipping schedules both incoming and outgoing materials
- Manage customer relations
- Managing equipment maintenance and repair requirements




- Manage employee training and safety documentation

The ideal candidate for this position should expect a combination of office and hands on type work. This is a rapid pace work environment that is constantly changing. Our goal is to service our customers efficiently while maintaining a safe, clean site. In participation with the management team monthly goals are set however the daily decision making process is often on the fly and often requires exceptional problem solving skills. Knowledge and experience with working around equipment is important and an individual that has mechanical knowledge and experience is preferred.
