Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate the Micros POS system to process cash, credit card, and mobile payments with accuracy
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, giving correct change and balancing registers at shift’s end
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with sanitation regulations
- Assist in food handling tasks such as plating, garnishing, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and excellent customer service

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude is essential!
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus; willingness to learn current technology is important
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
