You'll design and build our cross-platform applications from a single Flutter/Dart codebase targeting iOS, Android, and web, delivering schedules, scores, standings, and live statistics to fans, teams, and organizations. You'll work hand-in-hand with our .NET team, consuming the C#/Web APIs they build and helping shape the contracts between client and server.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain performant, reusable Flutter/Dart applications for iOS, Android, and web from a shared codebase.
- Translate designs, storyboards, and use cases into polished, responsive user interfaces.
- Integrate with our C#/.NET back-end services via REST/Web APIs, handling authentication, caching, and real-time sports data (schedules, scores, standings, live stats).
- Manage application state cleanly using established patterns (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, or BLoC).
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness across platforms and screen sizes.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Coordinate the build, release, and store-submission process for iOS and Android.
- Implement automated and unit tests to maintain code quality.
Requirements:
- Strong experience building and shipping production apps with Flutter and Dart.
- Proven cross-platform delivery across iOS and Android (Flutter web a strong plus).
- Solid understanding of state management patterns and app architecture.
- Experience integrating REST/Web APIs and handling asynchronous data.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and clean, testable code.
- Familiarity with dependency injection and common design/architectural patterns.
- Comfortable with App Store and Google Play build and release workflows.
- Proficient with code versioning tools such as Azure DevOps or Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Flutter web and building responsive layouts for larger screens.
- Familiarity with real-time data (WebSockets, SignalR, or push notifications).
- Experience working alongside a C#/.NET back-end team.
- Knowledge of native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) for platform-specific integrations.
- Experience with automated/widget testing in Flutter.
- Prior experience in the sports industry or with sports-related applications.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Flexible working hours and remote work options.
- Opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- The chance to work on exciting projects that impact the sports community.
