Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an chance to work in a fast-paced environment where clinical skills and patient communication are essential. Experience with dental software such as Akitu and Dentrix, along with knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology, will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs.
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software .
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following infection control standards




- Support administrative tasks related to patient intake and billing processes

Requirements

- Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity in orthodontics and pediatrics preferred
- Proficiency with dental software is an Asset
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Certification or training in dental assisting is required; Should be HARP CERTIFIED
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
