The Math Guru isn't your average tutoring centre.

We're a boutique tutoring studio where math, science, confidence, and community come together. Students don't just come here to learn, they come because they feel welcome, supported, and genuinely excited to walk through our doors.

We're looking for someone who naturally creates that feeling.

What you'll do

You'll be the heart of the studio on weekends.

You'll welcome students and families, answer questions, keep the day running smoothly, support tutors, and make sure every person who walks through the door feels cared for.

Your day might include:

- Greeting students and families with genuine warmth
- Helping students get settled and matched with their tutor
- Supporting tutors throughout the day so sessions run smoothly
- Answering phones, emails, and in-person questions professionally
- Keeping the studio organized, clean, stocked, and welcoming
- Preparing materials for sessions
- Solving little problems before they become big ones
- Helping create fun studio moments, seasonal themes, and celebrations
- Pitching in wherever needed—because no job is beneath anyone here

Schedule

- Paid weekday training from August 17 – September 4
- Regular schedule begins Saturday, September 5
- Every Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- In person at our Yonge & Eglinton studio
- Position runs through the end of June

Wage

$20.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience.
