Concrete forming company looking for a top Formwork Lead Hand to work on different sites throughout the lower mainland from coquitlam to vancouver. Some of your job descriptions will be;

Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and dismantle various concrete forms according to blueprints and specifications. We are looking for a top concrete forming worker looking to be promoted into management with an expanding company.

Assist with pouring concrete into forms, spreading, smoothing, and finishing surfaces to achieve desired levels and textures. Being able to trowel architectural walls is a plus.

Direct and guide concrete workers and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines on the job site, promoting a safe work environment for the team.

Ensure that concrete projects meet project specifications and building codes, including proper mix and consistency of concrete and rebar installation (we do some of our own rebar in house).

Operate and maintain concrete construction equipment and tools, ensuring proper function and safety.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.





Coordinate with other trades and stakeholders, such as project managers and clients, to ensure smooth project flow. Having a work laptop is a requirement.

Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Inventory Management: Tracking material, tool, and inventory needs.

Site Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of work sites, including setting up forms and preparing areas for concrete pours.

Client Interaction: Communicating with clients regarding project progress and addressing any concerns.

Training: Providing on-the-job training to less experienced concrete workers

Mobility: Have own vehicle and be willing to travel to different sites during the day if required (hrs and kms paid for)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
