About the Role
The Server delivers the front-of-house guest experience at the Conuma Grill, providing warm, attentive service while supporting the seasonal food and beverage program. The role includes breakfast setup, a la carte service, guest engagement, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly and help maintain an organized flow of tables.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and thoroughly so they are ready for incoming guests.
- Run food to tables promptly, confirming table numbers and dishes while ensuring accurate and professional delivery.
- Support servers during service by refilling water, removing used dishes, replacing cutlery, and responding to basic guest needs.
- Assist bartenders as a bar back by restocking glassware, ice, garnishes, beverages,
and other bar supplies throughout the shift.
- Maintain clean service areas including server stations, bar areas, host stand, dining room, and other front-of-house spaces.
- Communicate with servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff to keep service organized and address guest needs or delays quickly.
- Monitor guest and dining-room needs and proactively assist wherever required rather than waiting to be directed.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including stocking supplies, polishing glassware and cutlery, cleaning stations, and preparing the restaurant for the next service.
- Provide flexible front-of-house support by moving between bussing, food running, hosting, and bar-back duties based on business volume and operational needs.
Qualifications
Required
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Serving it Right certification
- Experience working in a restaurant front of house position
