Bannon's Auto Centre is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a 310S certification along with experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical systems and equipment.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Review work orders and discuss repair plans with service team.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect vehicles in operation and use advanced diagnostic tools and onboard systems to identify mechanical and electronic systems issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair/replace defective components.
- Conduct road tests, safety inspections, and performance checks to ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and comply with applicable standards.
- Complete scheduled maintenance on fuel system, driveline, HVAC suspension, and brakes.
- Operate cutting torches, welding equipment, and perform metal fabrication as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation including service reports, work orders, and inspection logs.
- Provide timely updates to service team on vehicle condition, completed work, and future service needs.
- Communicate with customers and colleagues to maintain high service quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Valid 310S required




- Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in automotive
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools, and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to access and use maintenance softwares
- Valid G Driver's License with clean driver's abstract
