Position Overview

As our Sales & Business Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, following up with leads, and helping local businesses discover how Ocean Edge Media can help them grow.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on conversation, networking, and closing deals.

Responsibilities

- Cold call local businesses to introduce Ocean Edge Media’s services.
- Follow up with warm leads via phone and email.
- Schedule discovery meetings for the owner.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and business functions when required.
- Build relationships with local business owners.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM.
- Reach out to previous inquiries and dormant leads.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on lead generation campaigns.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals.

Qualifications





- Previous sales, business development, or customer service experience is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable making outbound cold calls.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Professional and confident when speaking with business owners.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional networking events.
- Experience using CRM software is an asset but not required.

Compensation

- Base salary (optional depending on experience) plus uncapped commission or
- Commission-only opportunity with high earning potential.
