Job Summary

We're looking for a quick, productive and detail-oriented editor to join our creative team full-time with a focus on Social Media content but with the opportunity to work on TV Shows (with increased wages). Working alongside like-minded, driven individuals and a company culture that rewards hard work and dedication in a fast-paced environment, you'll help us craft premium, story-driven content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and potential TV shows, working on both long-form story-driven Youtube videos/TV shows and snappy short-form edits for social media. If you can work under tight deadlines, are passionate about storytelling, fast-paced edits, and creating content that stops endless scrolling — this is for you.

What You'll Do:

* Edit long-form YouTube videos with compelling storytelling, pacing, and emotional arc

* Cut short-form social content (reels, TikToks, shorts) optimized for retention and shareability

* Potentially cut longer-form TV shows - delivering story-driven quality under extremely tight deadlines

* Add titles, subtitles, motion graphics, and animations using After Effects

* Handle media ingesting, syncing, and logging for both short- and long-form projects

* Organize timelines, media, and assets in well-structured Premiere Pro projects

* Mix and clean up audio for clarity and consistency

* Apply color correction or grading (in Premiere or DaVinci Resolve)





* Collaborate with producers and our Chief Growth Officer to shape stories and deliverables

* Maintain organized backups, follow versioning protocols, and use collaborative tools (e.g., Frame.io, Google Drive)

* Help shape the story and creative voice of our content across platforms

What We're Looking For:

* Professional experience editing YouTube content and short-form social videos

* A strong portfolio/reel showcasing creative, story-first editing and visual polish

* Expertise in Premiere Pro and Avid

* Strong eye for pacing, design, emotion, and comedic timing

* Familiarity with ingesting, proxy workflows, and file organization

* Adaptable and comfortable managing extremely tight turnarounds and multiple projects at once

* Clear communication, ability to take feedback, and great self-management

* Passion for documentary-style storytelling and a good sense of humor

Bonus Points:

* Experience with automotive, DIY, or personality-driven content

* Knowledge of YouTube analytics and audience retention trends

Compensation: $20–$25 CAD/hour depending on experience.

Job Type: Full-time
