Duties may include
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality and safety standards
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, for order processing and payments
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, following food safety protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy hours and coordinate multiple tasks seamlessly
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and POS operations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food preparation, serving, or kitchen tasks is a plus but not mandatory
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks and deliver timely service
