RightKind Care is seeking a dependable Overnight PSW for an awake supervision role at an addiction recovery rehab in Palgrave, Ontario. This is a steady overnight position for someone responsible, calm, punctual, and comfortable supporting clients in a structured residential environment.

The shift is 8:30 PM to 8:30 AM, paying $22/hour, which comes to $264 per overnight shift. There are 2–3 overnight shifts per week available, with an ASAP start. Some flexibility on days may be possible, but the schedule must remain consistent each week.

Applicants must enter Palgrave, ON into their GPS before applying and confirm they are able and willing to drive there for overnight shifts. A valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a car are required.

Responsibilities

- Provide awake overnight supervision in an addiction recovery rehab setting.
- Remain awake, alert, and attentive for the full 8:30 PM to 8:30 AM shift.
- Monitor client safety, well-being, and the general overnight environment.
- Help maintain a calm, respectful, and structured setting.
- Follow instructions provided by RightKind Care and the rehab leadership team.
- Use basic grounding and breathing techniques if a client becomes stressed or overwhelmed.
- Communicate concerns or changes to the appropriate supervisor.
- Complete basic shift notes or updates when required.
- Maintain professionalism,



discretion, and appropriate boundaries at all times.

Experience

- Valid PSW certificate required.
- Current CPR training required.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a car required.
- Must be able and willing to drive to Palgrave, Ontario.
- Must be comfortable working in an addiction recovery rehab setting.
- Must be reliable, punctual, mature, and able to commit to consistent weekly overnight shifts.
- Mental health training is not required; specific training will be provided for grounding and breathing techniques.
- Prior overnight, supervision, residential care, or recovery-setting experience is an asset.

This is a strong opportunity for a responsible PSW looking for consistent overnight work in a structured setting. A bed is available on-site if you need to rest before or after the shift, and there is also an in office gym that may be used before or after your shift. Please note that this is an awake overnight role, and the bed is not for use during the shift.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
