High School Mathematics Tutor

Are you passionate about math and love helping students build confidence in the subject? Tutor Labs Canada is looking for an energetic High School Mathematics Tutor to guide students through algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics — and help them discover they're better at math than they think.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves teaching, enjoys one-on-one connection with students, and wants flexible, meaningful work that fits around their schedule. Hours are entirely up to you — work anywhere from 1 to 35 hours per week depending on your availability and preference.

What You'll Do

- Lead engaging one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions covering high school math topics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics
- Assess each student's strengths and gaps to build a tailored learning plan
- Use educational software, online resources, and interactive tools to make lessons stick
- Help students with homework, assignments, and test prep to reinforce classroom learning
- Track student progress and keep transparent session notes




- Create a supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence

What You Bring

- A Bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of math topics covered in the Ontario high school curriculum
- Great communication skills and genuine enthusiasm for teaching
- Comfort using online learning platforms and educational technology
- Experience tutoring or working with teens is a plus, but not required
- Classroom or teaching experience is an asset
- Familiarity with strategies to support diverse learners is a bonus

Pay & Hours

- $20–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Versatile schedule: 1–35 hours per week, depending on your availability and preference
