Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista / Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, preferably with experience in food and beverage preparation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude are essential. The Barista will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while preparing high-quality beverages and maintaining cleanliness standards.

We are looking for 1-2 employees part time and full time.

Night and weekend shifts only for now.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages and gelato using POS systems such as Square.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with food preparation when required




- Uphold excellent customer service standards by engaging positively with guests and addressing concerns professionally

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is required
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Square is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and measuring ingredients
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Time management skills to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Previous experience in serving or food preparation roles is advantageous
