Job Summary

Our Edmonton branch is currently seeking a Journeyman Millwright to join our dynamic services team. We are looking for skilled, experienced, and highly motivated professionals with a strong work ethic who thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This role may involve some travel as part of service operations. This is a current vacancy.

At this time, we are only accepting applications from candidates with a Millwright Journeyman Certificate. Apprentice positions are not being considered.

Duties

- Alignments, maintenance, repair, service, and inspection of fixed rotating equipment
- Proficient in the use of machining tools, hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement tools
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical equipment
- Assemble machinery and commission start-up support
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manuals
- Shutdown service support and asset rebuilds
- Keep work area and equipment in a safe, clean,



and orderly condition
- Perform duties and operate equipment in a secure and satisfactory manner
- Safely operate mobile equipment and hoisting devices when necessary
- Complete all jobs in a timely manner
- Able to work individually or in larger group atmospheres
- Mentor apprentices through their professional development

- Clean Driver's Abstract

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and ability to work overtime
- Willingness to travel and work shift work
- Leadership experience an asset
- Experience working on a multi-trade crew

Pay: $42.60-$47.60 per hour
