Weatherhaven is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of deployable shelter systems and infrastructure solutions. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technician to join our Production Team. This role is responsible for operating fabric cutting and welding equipment to manufacture high-quality components that meet customer and company standards.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with production equipment, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate fabric CNC cutting equipment to accurately cut materials according to drawings, patterns, and work instructions.
- Operate RF (Radio Frequency) and hot air welding equipment to assemble and weld fabric components.
- Read and interpret drawings, patterns, specifications, and work orders.
- Verify material dimensions, quality, and specifications before and during production.
- Perform machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting as required.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet workmanship and dimensional requirements.
- Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Perform routine equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Support other production activities as required.
- Perform other duties as required.

Health and Safety

- Reporting hazards/unsafe working conditions
- Following all PPE/Safe Working instructions
- Understand responsibilities related to Provincial standard

Environmental

- Work to achieve environmental objectives




- Understand how your tasks/activities impact the environment
- Report on Environmental concerns

Qualifications & Skills

Experience operating CNC equipment, RF welding equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery is considered an asset.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, patterns, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using computers and navigating production software.
- Ability to use measuring tools accurately.
- Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
