About the Role

The Company is in search of accomplished leaders to join its Board of Directors, providing strategic oversight and governance for an organization dedicated to preserving and strengthening housing outcomes in communities. The successful candidates will be responsible for guiding organizational strategy, overseeing risk and financial stewardship, and ensuring the organization remains accountable to its public-interest mission.
Ideal candidates will have senior leadership and governance experience from a variety of sectors, including public, private, not-for-profit, and others. They should be recognized for their strategic perspective, sound judgment, and commitment to accountability, and be able to contribute constructively within a governance setting.





Experience in areas such as housing, finance, investment oversight, public policy, risk management, Indigenous affairs, or community development is considered valuable.

Board meetings are conducted virtually, and candidates may be located anywhere in Canada. The positions are volunteer roles, with approved expenses reimbursed. The Board currently meets monthly, with an anticipation of moving to a quarterly meeting schedule.
