We are looking for a strategic and unifying leader to ensure the financial health of the Group and support its growth.
Reporting to the President and the Executive Committee, the Corporate Director of Finance is responsible for ensuring the financial health of the Group by providing accurate information for decision-making, guaranteeing compliance with laws and regulations as well as the Group's values, and ensuring the profitability of the company. What does your role involve?
Financial strategy
- Provide financial leadership and vision to support the Group's growth
- Plan and control all financial activities: accounting, forecasting, treasury and payroll
Leadership and team management
- Recruit, train and mentor the finance team
- Coordinate daily activities and month-end reports
Budget, treasury and financing
- Lead the budget process and variance analysis
- Manage treasury, working capital and financing files
Control, compliance and payroll
- Ensure internal control, tax compliance and audits
- Direct payroll processing and control of the salary mass
- Manage relationships with business partners: governments, banks, insurers and suppliers
Required qualifications
- Undergraduate university degree in accounting, finance or any other related field
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, including significant experience in a controller, financial management or head-of-finance role within an SME
- Solid experience in financial planning, budgets, forecasting and the production of financial statements
- Experience in systems implementation, continuous improvement and process optimization
- Experience in process improvement, internal controls and financial performance optimization
- Experience in team management and talent development
- Ability to work directly with senior management and present clear recommendations
- Flexible, precise person able to work under pressure
- Valuable team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills
- Hospitality experience an asset
- Perfectly bilingual (French and English) - required due to regular interactions with an international clientele and partners
- Knowledge of the Dayforce payroll system (an asset)
