PAY RATE STARTS FROM $32 PER HOUR.. Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks over long distances to ensure timely delivery of freight across regional and national routes. The ideal candidate will possess solid driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle various types of freight and equipment. A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and experience with heavy equipment operation are essential for success in this position. Duties Safely operate large commercial trucks over long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination, ensuring timely deliveries Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and other critical components Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary,



ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with company policies and federal regulations Perform basic vehicle maintenance or coordinate repairs with automotive repair specialists as needed Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, preferably with long-haul routes Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other loading machinery is a plus Basic automotive repair skills are desirable for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues on the road Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform manual tasks related to freight handling
