Lead the development of creative energy solutions to enhance sustainability and reduce costs.The Department of Infrastructure seeks an experienced engineer to drive both conventional and renewable energy projects. You will analyze and design systems while collaborating with Indigenous governments and industry partners. As a key technical expert, your insights will help improve energy security and community sustainability across the NWT.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical analysis for renewable energy projects
- Prepare feasibility and business case evaluations
- Manage engineering consultants for major initiatives
- Provide expert advice on utility-scale energy systems
- Collaborate with partners to deliver strategic projectsRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with Professional designation
- Minimum three years of post-designation energy experience
- Expert in utility-scale energy systems
- Registration with NAPEG within 90 days
