InnovOak School is looking for a passionate Junior School HomeForm and English/Social Studies Teacher to start in September 2026. Lead grades 1-6 while inspiring a passion for academics.
The successful candidate will serve as a HomeForm teacher, fostering an inviting environment for students as they learn English Language Arts and Social Studies. You will be tasked with teaching various subjects, building strong student relationships, and ensuring differentiated instruction that meets all learners' needs. Some teachers may even have the prospect to design their own classes from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as HomeForm teacher for grades 1 to 6
• Teach English Language Arts and Social Studies effectively
• Develop and maintain a structured, welcoming classroom




• Cultivate positive relationships with students and parents
• Assess student performance using diverse strategies
Requirements:
• Preference for Ontario College of Teachers certification
• Completed or in-progress Bachelor of Education
• Understanding of elementary education curriculum
• Excellent classroom management abilities
• Desire to positively influence student development
