Full Stack Software EngineerLocation: Ontario, CanadaWhat to expectWorking alongside some very talented and dedicated individuals, you will be part of a cross‐functional agile team that contributes to building AutoSync's digital platformTaking part in daily agile ceremonies, brainstorming on innovative ideas that challenge the status quo and helping to implement solutionsActing as an advocate for ownership & highest code quality, as well as contributing to the health of the infrastructureRaising the bar and elevating the team by sharing knowledge and best practices, while always seeking improvements and facilitating progressWhat you bring to the tableHands on experience developing for fast, high traffic public facing websitesA firm believer in the full stack software engineering principle, with a "you‐build‐it‐you‐run‐it" attitude (development, devops, cloudops, security, testing, etc)Proven ability to explore new technologies and help the team to use themA passion for AI and how it applies to the SDLCStrong programming skills and software development best practicesStrong testing principles, testing your own code to ensure production readinessMust have experience4+ years developing reliable, highly available and scalable software systemsStrong understanding of software architecture and design patternsFirm grasp of clean code principles and coding standardsStrong proficiency using AI tooling, such as ChatGPT/Codex, for rapid developmentExperience integrating AI tooling into your development environment for streamlined usageExperience with AI Frameworks like Vercel AI SDK, LangChain, etc.Passionate about AIStrong proficiency with backend developmentTypescript,



Node.Js, environment used for current and new products – 60%Python/Django – used in former applications – 40%Solid proficiency with SQL & NoSQL datastores (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB)Strong proficiency with frontend development (Javascript, HTML, CSS)Strong proficiency with component‐based frameworks and SSR (Next.Js/React, Vue.Js)Hands on experience developing and maintaining 3rd party content management systemsKnowledge of modern cloud infrastructures and tools, such as AWS, Terraform and DockerExperience with APIs and developing in a service‐based application environmentExperience building optimized UIs for performanceProficiency with version control systems such as GitExperience working within a formal CI/CD pipelineExperience with logging, monitoring and alerting services like Datadog, NewrelicSolid approach to testing and ensuring quality of code, Unit testing, backend and frontendWhat's In It For You?We understand that there is life at work and life outside of work.
